Should Americans give up rights?

No, Americans should not have to give up their rights and liberties during the time of war unless everyone in America is forced too. When rations are given out to the people and gas restrictions are put up to limit what days people are allowed to buy gas the wealthy and rich company owners and politicians are not effected by this. They are rich and will still continue to eat all the food they want, and get gas whenever they please without restriction. The same goes for the extremely unfortunate people who are forced to be sent off to war. The poor are sent to war while the sons of the rich and wealthy families get to stay in America and go to private universities. This is extremely unfair and if they don't need to give up there liberties, why should the lower and middle class of America need to?
