1) From this field trip to the JFK library there are a few things that I learned about JFK that I had not known about previously. The first thing I learned was that JFK had not done much about civil rights during the beginning of his presidency.
2) The part of the trip that I found most interesting where the the video clips that where playing at the museum section. The most interesting I found was the Cuban Missile crisis clip that played. I learned a lot more about the Cuban Missile Crisis from seeing this clip.
3) I found that the classroom portion of the field trip was rather boring. They could cut that down to about a half hour, or remove it completely. They should also give a broader tour of the building as a whole instead of just the museum.
4) JFK did a lot for the American people as a whole as opposed to the nations wealthy and elite. He had interests in ending the war, and promoting civil rights for the oppressed races in America. His plan was well thought out and direct. Overall JFK was a good president with a few flaws that could knock him back (Cuban Missile Crisis). I wouldn't say that he was the best president, but I would agree he is within the top 10.
