Jimmy Carter

I believe that Jimmy Carter's plan was too based on the substitution of solar energy. His plan seemed like it was bent on the use of solar energy to replace current sources. Replacements for oil in cars with other fuels, and electrical power should have also been in taken into consideration. Carter's plan seemed to be more based on short-term fixes rather than a long term solution to the massive problem at hand. Most of his ideas seemed more based on quick-fixing the economy, rather than providing a long term stabilizer that would, over time, permanently fix energy attaining methods and the environment as a whole. Carter's plan to save fuel also did not focus deeply on helping to save the environment in the process of conserving energy. The only alternative that he offers is solar power which is a minuscule resource in the abundant supply of energy alternatives.
